The ceramic blade is made from a non-porous material, so it does not transfer odours or flavours to the food you cut and is easy to clean — a rinse under water and a wipe with a cloth is enough. This zirconia-based material has an inert chemical composition that repels food odours, keeping the taste and aroma of your ingredients intact.
Because the material is so hard, the cutting edge stays sharp up to ten times longer.
