How do you resurface a polyethylene board?
With daily use, polyethylene boards build up cuts and grooves that make deep cleaning harder and shorten their life. If you notice your board is worn or has visible grooves, there is no need to replace it yet. Excelente tabla de corte. Muy estable. Por su peso y los pies antideslizantes no se mueve al cortar lo cual da seguridad y evita accidentes. El material conserva el filo de los cuchillos. La tengo al lado de la placa y también resiste el poner las ollas encima cuando se sacan del fuego ayudando a conservar la encimera. Muy contento con la compra.

Así es, la tabla tiene como principal función el proteger los filos de los cuchillos. Y los pies antideslizantes, aunque no son milagrosos, ayudan a mantener en su sitio la tabla de corte.
Respecto a la temperatura que aguanta, suelen soportar temperaturas medias, pero hay que tener en cuenta que es plástico, y como tal podría quedar marcado a muy altas temperaturas.
