The Merkur 34 double edge safety razor is a model also widely known as the ‘HD’ (Heavy Duty) because of its weight — a nickname earned over the past 80 years.

Yet the Merkur 34 is also refined, and few razors can match the smooth, comfortable shave of this classic.

The kit includes a Merkur Super blade so you can start using it straight away.

The razor head is made by pressure die-casting zinc, which produces instruments with the utmost precision even in complex shapes. The handle is made of brass, so it is lighter and gives a more comfortable weight distribution. To protect against corrosion, the finish is chrome-plated.

This is a closed comb model, meaning the blade is less exposed and therefore well suited to beginners. As you shave you will feel the best shaving angle for your razor, achieving excellent results.

Between the blades there is a generous gap, allowing greater soap flow and preventing clogging with cut hair or lather residue.
