Description
The 3 Claveles Scuola 12636 texturizing scissors add to the 12635 version what many hairdressing schools specifically ask for in the first months of training: a finger rest built into the handle. The technical action of texturizing, which combines partial cuts and repeated movements over the same section, demands a hand stability that the student often has not yet fully developed.
The build is asymmetric, as in any quality texturizing pair: one blade with the teeth characteristic of texturizing, the other with a 50° micro-serrated edge. This combination produces the partial cut that defines the final texturizing result, ideal for texturizing sections, lightening volume and creating soft transitions between areas of the hair. The HRC 54 Rockwell hardness keeps the geometry of both the teeth and the micro-serration in good shape throughout the learning period.
Why choose the 3 Claveles Scuola 12636 with a finger rest?
The finger rest doesn’t add weight: it redistributes what is already there. By resting the little finger in the curve of the handle, the scissors become more stable and the hand tires less, something you will notice especially when texturizing, where you make dozens of repeated movements in the same area. For anyone still training and finding their touch, that point of support changes the result of the work.
Differences from the version without a finger rest
Compared with the 12635 model (texturizing without a finger rest), the 12636 prioritises ergonomics over pure technical learning. The choice between one and the other depends on your approach: if your school requires the classic grip from the start, the 12635 is the option; if you value comfort and reduced fatigue, the 12636 is the answer. The toothed blade and the micro-serrated blade do the same job in both models: what changes is the grip.
